Test wid iodine solution, if the leaf turns blue black, it has starch otherwise not

boil the leaf in alcohol....
then put iodine solution in it...
if the leaf turns blue black then it has starch content...
then put iodine solution in it...
if the leaf turns blue black then it has starch content...
