Constant volume process:
Imagine you have this cylinder piston system.
Now imagine that somehow, you have fixed the position of piston so that it cannot move up and down.
Now anything you do such as providing or extracting heat won't affect the volume since due to exchange of heat, temperature will change but since volume is constant, only pressure will change.
You have fixed the piston hence volume cannot change… bingoooo ! You have done it.. you have created a constant volume process.
Constant pressure process:
Consider the same cylinder piston system again but now with a twist.
This time, the piston can move up and down. So the moment you provide or extract heat , the piston moves so that volume can change… congrats once again you have created a constant pressure process.
