Step-by-step explanation:

We need

a compass

a scale

and

a pencil.

Draw a line 7cm long.

Name it AB.

AC = 10 and BD= 8 (given).

Half of these are 5 and 4.

So with A as centre draw an

arc of 5 cm

from B draw an arc of 4 cm

Both arcs should be long enough in the right direction so that they intersect.

We name this intersection O.

From A draw a line AC through O ; extend it to 10 cm.

From B draw BD through O ;

extend it to 8 cm.

Join B-C-D-A.

Our parl'gram is ready.

Answer:

step 1-->

----------

drawing AC=10cm as base and drawing perpendicular bisector of AC.

step 2--->

----------

now we know that diagonal of ||gm bisect each other so taking radius equal to 8/2=4cm and taking o as centre drawing two arcs one above o and one below o

step 3--->

----------

now taking 7cm as radius and taking A as centre and taking C as centre drawing two arcs which interest previous arcs at B and D

step 4--->join A and B, B and C, A and D, C ----------

and D to get a ||gm ABCD
