How consumption of alcohol affect our nervous system and how consumption of alcohol is social evil

Alcohol can damage nerve function when it accumulates inside the body. Heavy alcohol intake for extended periods of time can lead to alcoholic neuropathy, a serious form of nerve damage . as it mainly affect the CNS central nervous system as cns consist of two main parts brain and spinal cord both of which need to be strong,working order for a person to function at his or her full capacity unfortunately sever alcohol abuse can take its toll on the central nervous system. 
alcohol consumption is social evil as like alcohol consumption is dangerous we can say it is harmful for the health of the person and the primary reason bcoz of which alcohol is considered as social evil can be because it causes a person to loose control over himself and increase his likelihood of causing harm to those around him
