Answer:

This pandemic has affected thousands of peoples, who are either sick or are being killed due to the spread of this disease. The most common symptoms of this viral infection are fever, cold, cough, bone pain and breathing problems, and ultimately leading to pneumonia. The coronavirus has affected our lives in several ways. Economically - where most work is on a hold, physically -where we miss our workouts at gyms and parks, mentally - as the lockdown has blocked all gatherings. We have been missing out lectures since a few weeks and now again for the next 21 days. Online lectures do not help with lab work or solve our complex doubts. On the positive side, the holidays and the lockdown have helped us to explore our hobbies, enjoy our childhood and it has given us time to hit pause on our daily routines. Environmentally, there is no doubt that pollution has decreased and AQI has improved.I was visiting my mother in Pune, who hasn’t been keeping well. Her condition was serious and I stayed back for some days to take care of her. By the time she recovered, transportation in the city was curbed and I have been in Pune since then. My husband, father-in-law and daughter are in Ahmedabad doing all the daily chores. Both my husband and father-in-law are diabetic and I need to get home to help them. Corona has left in such a difficult situation. The virus has created an alarming situation. Two of my exams got cancelled, the summer internship stands delayed as of now and many companies have cancelled their summer internship programmes. It’s a situation of tension everywhere. I hope technology comes to the rescue and somehow, we’re able to overcome this global crisis.Coronavirus has affected everyone’s life drastically. Things aren’t normal, we are scared to mingle, socialise, visit shops and malls. Outdoor activities like going to gym, swimming or playing any other sport remain affected, both for adults and children. The biggest problem is the lack of freedom to move around and the fear of getting infected, which has really taken a toll on our mental health. It’s affecting us psychologically, instilling the feeling that we are going to die and that now survival is a challenge. To sum up, COVID-19 has affected lives tremendously beyond our imagination paradoxically which is a reality. This pandemic and the subsequent lockdown has left me introspecting. It’s only when we lose something that we realise its importance, be it our health, family, food, everyday luxuries and even Mother Nature! Now we have more time to interact with our loved ones, just chat even about mundane things, play indoor games, share ideas/thoughts and reminsce the fondest of memories. We, as a family, have decided to eat and sleep early, basically follow our circadian rhythm and have simple food with no fuss whatsoever. I’m more grateful than ever for all the little blessings that the Almighty has bestowed and I make sure to pen it down everyday. We will definitely overcome this period someday, but more importantly, I hope we carry forward the lessons learnt, slow down our pace and contribute towards a healthier, greener planet.
