How could I prove that H2 in ammonia

It should be possible to separate these two gases by passing the mix through a mineral acid solution eg. (H2SO4).  The ammonia reacts with the acid to form ammonium sulfate salt while H2 pass unreacted through the acid. The process could be repeated through a series of contact scrubbers until the ammonia is scrubbed.
