The farman issuby Aurangazeb granted the right to do duty free trade to the company and this was misused by company officials and this led to huge loss of revenue. Thus murshid Ali khan could not refuse.

Answer:

The farman issued by Aurangzeb, granted the right to trade duty free to only the company, however, this was grossly misused by the company officials as they carried out private trade without paying any duty and made huge profits by buying cheap & selling at higher prices in Europe. This led to huge loss of revenue of the state and the authority of nawabs was undermined.

Therefore this led the Nawab of Bengal Murshid Quli Khan to protestagainst the Company officia
