  • The Khyber Pass is a  pass which connects Afghanistan and Pakistan. It was an important trade route between India and Central Asia. Darius I, Genghis Khan, Mahmud Ghaznavi, and Muhammad Ghori were some invaders who came through this Pass.
  • The Bolan Pass extends through the Toba Kakar Range in western Pakistan. It connects Quetta and Sibi. It is strategically located so it was used by invaders. 
  •  The british army was under the control of Sir John Keane 1839,and entered Kandahar.
