How could these sentences be effectively combined with a coordinating conjunction? Joe likes skydiving. Mary does, too. Joe and Mary like skydiving. Joe likes skydiving; Mary likes skydiving, too.

There are a bunch of different possibilities. Here are the two of em I can think of on the top of my head :-

  1. Joe likes skydiving and so does Mary.
  2. Joe and Mary like skydiving.

Firstly examine the sentence. Then look at how the main subjects correlate. for example, Joe and Mary enjoy skydiving. and skydiving is the common ground/interest. Don't just use "and" for everything. Try and be sort of creative with your answers.
