By boiling the water we can check whether it is pure or not. If the water boils at 100 degree Celsius then it is pure but if its boiling point increases or decreases then the water must have some impurities and thus we can say that it is not pure.

Pure water is obtained by fractional distillation. It has only water molecules. By this we conclude purity of water.
