how could you convince a small child that when you speak it is not necessary for air to travel from your mouth to the listeners ear.

put a helmet on the child's head and strap it on .. now blow a fan near his/ her ears.. when he / she realises that air dosnt go to his/ her ears.. then u speak...
tell him that air was blocked in the first case.. so it is obvious that air will get blocked in the second case too.. but say him that though air got blocked .. but he / she could listen..
