Answer:

How could Yudhisthirs please the Yakshs a lot and to what results?

Frankly speaking, Yaksha came there to take examination.

First part of the examination was the ‘ Viva- Voce’ and another part was the ‘ Practical’.

In the viva voce Yaksha asked various questions and Yudhisthira gave all answers, right or wrong but to his best capacity and upto his whole knowledge and by this Yudhisthira qualified to have his thirst quenched.

But the stakes were very large for Yudhisghira, so he did not quench his thirst but made the examiner Yaksha to take the Practical exam.

Yaksha asked to choose only one brother and Yudhisghira realizing that his thought to take back his kingdom back should be thrown in the back ground and he should adhere to the dharma only.

So he chose Nakula who wss very handsome guy and without whom Yudhisghira, probably could not have survived.

Realizing the importance given by Yudhisthira to Nakula, Yaksha was very happy and had given the lives of all the Pandavas because Nakula could not have rested without Sahdeva and Arjuna.

So only Bhima appeared to Yaksha as futile keeping him dead, hence he gave life to Bhima too.

Then Yudhisthara by his own wisdom also got the boon to the effect that even if Pandavas were to spend 13 th year in Hastinapur, even Duryodhana facing them could not have recognize them.

This boon shows that had Arjuna himself had not appeared in the war as Brihannalaa, there was no way for the Kauravas to detect Pandavas.

Hence the claims of Karna and Duryodhana that the Pandavas had been identified prior to the completion of the 13 th year being over.

The important lines which most of Quoreans ignored.

The point about the hollowness of Kauravas claim lies when the dice was played second time.Shakuni the great dice player forgot to retell the stake as per plan they cooked up.Going to forest for 12 years and living unknown in 13 th year was spoken but only once and there he had forgotten to mention that if detected then another round of 12 years plus 1 year Agyatvaas and so on should be the stake.

Thus in the stake there was no provision for what would be if detected earlier than the completion of 13 th year.

Shakuni though won for Duryodhana but also put the sun set to the ongoing repetition of 12+1 and 12+1 and so on

hope it is useful
