Disguised employment does not increase or decrease productivity. Employee welfare schemes are stretched to include ineffective workforce. Industries where such a workforce could have been used effectively, suffer. Because some workers do not have work, it leads to laziness among the entire workforce.

Disguised employment is when some of the workforce have actually no work and their productivity is nil. In Economics, it is ‘too many employees doing too few jobs.’ There is zero output from these so-called workforces.
