Scheduled castes are marginalized people which means that they are not accepted by the society and being devoid in any meaningful participation in the society. During the early 19s' marginalization and inequality was soo high. Marginalized people also thought that they are not good to be in the society. There economic and all other rights are taken. To give justice to those people our constitution had done tremendous work. Article 17 of Indian Constitution prohibit the act of untouchability and such other social evils that were present in the society then.
