Answer:

Depth of pool is 1.27 m

Step-by-step explanation:

Data:

If the pool have constant plan bottom the depth will be constant and the pool will be of cylindrical form where upper area is circular then we can get following data.

Volume of circular swimming pool = 64000 L = 64 m³

Diameter of circle = d = 8 m

Required:

The depth of pool = h = ?

Calculation:

we  known that

diameter of circular = 2 (radius of circle)

So

Radius of circle = r = d/2

Putting value of diameter = 8 m we get

   r = 8 / 2 = 4 m

And

We known that

Area of circular area = A = πr²

Putting values we get

   A = π(4)² = 16π

   A = 16π

Now

we known that

Volume of pool = Area of circular × depth of pool

Putting values we get

   64 = 16π × h

             h = 64/16π = 4/π = 1.27323954 ≈ 1.27 m

So

Depth of pool is 1.27 m
