How deep will a vacuum pump raise water from?

In a water well, the weight of the atmosphere is acting on the surface of the water down in the well. The pump at ground level acts as the source of vacuum and has a theoretical lifting capability of about 30 feet (It would lift34 feet if it could create a perfect vacuum).
