How democracy helps in promoting basic human values

   In a democracy all people have rights to live of their will and they have rights for speech, practicing religion, do job, acquire property, elect their representatives and leaders etc.

  The fundamental values of human life are documented and written in a constitution. The constitution is followed by all citizen and the rulers. The police and judiciary protect the basic humanitarian values and values of social life. 

    Free and powerful Media helps the people in raising issues and problems related to basic values in the democracy. So they are practiced, restored and protected well.

    As the constitution gives importance to the basic values, the values are promoted very well.
