- .liquids:- In liquid .. particles can move within a liquid but they are densely packed but less packed than solid .so it have a more volume than solids...so density is inversely proportional to volume .hence, liquids have less density than solid.
- gases:- gases have no definite volume so . density of gas is less than both liquid and solid.
