Hey There!

Development for one can be destruction for the other.

Suppose a project of building a dam is taken.
There could be two CONDITIONS here-

☆ Construction of a dam would be development for businessmen or certain MNCs with use the electricity for their purpose.
The farmers whose field were not getting water supply will not get an adequate supply

So here it is development.

☆ For the farmers who were displaced from their land for its construction, it would result destructive. They lost their fields and homes.

So here it is destructive.

Hence , what is development for one can be destructive for other.

Hope it helps!
