while inhaling the lungs expands and then the diaphragm is helpful during. exhaling the diaphragm comes upwards.

in male diaphragm plays key role in respiration it moves down when we inhale air because when we inhale due to air lungs get expanded and thorasic cavity also increases so they push diaphragm down and moves upwards during exhale
