Apartheid in South Africa ended through lot of negotiations between 1990- 1993 and by unilateral steps by Klerk government. this negotiation resulted in the first non-racial elections in South Africa which was won by African national congress

As protests and strugglers against apartheid had increased, the government realised that they could no longer keep the blacks under their rule through repression. Finally at midnight of 26th April 1994, the Republic of South Africa got freedom from apartheid.
