When the postmaster received the letter of Lencho which was sent to God, he laughs first. But he became serious afterward. He wanted to help Lencho. He asked for help from other employees. He wanted to help Lencho because he didn't want to shake the faith of God.
He collects money from different contributors and also adds money from his salary. Only 70 pesos were collected. The money was sent to Lencho. Instead of being happy, Lencho becomes more frustrated. He was expecting 100 pesos. He thought that he was cheated and the other 30 pesos might have been taken by the post office employees.
Result-
He wrote another letter to ask rest money and also said that the post office employees are 'a bunch of crooks.'
He didn't have faith in humanity.
