Adam Smith was an eminent enlightenment thinker and moral uplifter.  

If we compare him to other famous Enlightenment thinkers we could find that Adam Smith devoted his maximum time for upbringing various economic ideas like the idea of laissez-faire and the law of supply which emerged during the Enlightenment Era.

This initiative created the basic outline of modern economics.
