Answer:

The Mansabdars were appointed to all civil and military posts except that of judiciary, and the positions like wazir, bakshi, faujdar and Subedar were held by the Mansabdars. The Mansabdar appears to be a central Asian institution.

Akbar was the third ruler of the Mughal Empire in India. He established the system of Mansabdari and Jagirdari. These were the two different systems with common roots. for instance, the Mansabdari system, all the government officers were provided with some rank and they were bound to present a particular number of horse and soldiers to the emperor. At the same time, the land granted by the emperor to his officers in lieu of revenue collection was known as the Jagirdari system. The following are the ways, in which Akbar controlled the activities of the officers associated with these two systems:

Akbar made it necessary for the Mansabdars to be present in front of him at an interval of time. For the jagirdars, he made an arrangement for transferring their jagirs, due to which they could not establish their control over the land and people.
