Alauddin or in short alauddin khilji. he was very successful sultan because at the time of jalaluddin khilji the khilji dynasty was not its on peak when alauddin came in power after assasinating jalaluddin.                                    Alauddin expand his kingdom when he came in power there are many things that made alauddin prove to be a great sultan.

1) Mongol army was in its peak and they invaded India. but at that the reign was under khilji as alauddin was also a militant.
