the black people were discriminated on the basis of their race and caste . white government make it oppressive by forbidding black to enter their region , where they live , where they work etc . blacks were punished if they were found in white people's area . also , public facilities and other facilities were given seprately to blacks . they had put boards on beaches also , so that they would not face blacks.
