The reaction of audience after the Rupa performed, was indeed shocking. Rupa's play had a story on the lines of the territorial microcosm and after the play, there was a distinct transition in the behavior of the audiences.

entire cottesloe space was changed into a traditional English space simulation with the audience partitioned in the interior and exterior of the pub's so as to create a symbolic and literal border.
