Bairam khan was the commander in chief in the humayun period as well as in akbar period.

After the death of Babur,the Afghan ruler sher shah suri wanted to establish an empire in the Indian subcontinent. Humayun was at the throne that time in 1530 when his father died. Babur ruled for a short period of from 1526 to 1530.

Humayun was not at all the efficient ruler to rule in India.

In 1540 sher shah forces begin march toward Kannauj in awadh to establish an empire.From there mughal forces meet the afghan force in Kannauj and the battle goes on. It was the bloodiest battle and the mughals were at the very end of the loss.

Somehow Humayun escapes the battle and travel towards the north west.

16 years will be the Sur empire in the Indian Sub continent from 1540-1556

After 15 years of great struggle Humayun formed a new large army with great military skills.

After the defeat from the hands of sher shah,humayun roam here and there for help and wanted to re-establish the mughal dynasty.

After taking the help of rajputs,afghans and persians he was ready to re-establish the mughal dynasty.

On 22nd june 1555 mughal forces meets

Islam shah suri forces in Sirhind for the war of succession.

The result of the war was the decisive victory of the mughals and from 1555-1857 there will be mughals in India.

The new capital of mughal India was Delhi (Purana quila) and from their the administration of Indian affairs will take place.

on January 1556,Humayun was in his rooftop of his library seeing the stars... after the evening activity emperor going down via stairs and suddenly the azaan went on and emperor used to sit in islamic position in the staircase..then his leg slips down and he falls apart..after this he has no conscious and he died within a week..

The news of emperor being dead was spread very fast and mughals were worried about that anyone can claim the throne..then the mughals decide to roam his duplicate in jharokha-i-darshan in the Fort..

After humayun died on 27 January 1556, the successor of his throne was Akbar the Great who was at that was only 14years old....

In the meantime Hemu the commander of Sher shah and now wanted to become the king was willing to attack and recapture the territory of mughal India...

On 5th November 1556, The forces of Akbar with the commander in chief BAIRAM KHAN and forces of Hemchandra vikramaditya meet each other on the outskirts of Delhi (PANIPAT)..

When the war starts the forces of Hemu looks strong in winning the war but the mughals as well give them a tough fight..

Suddenly one archer shot into the eyes of Hemu and he fell off from his elephant and the forces of Hemu surrendered to mughals and Bairam khan beheaded the hemu and re establish the mughals...

From 1556 to 1605 Akbar ruled India with ease..
