Sue thought that she would die on the day when the last leaf of the tree would fell off.Her health was getting worse.So to encourage her and make her feel good,Behrman painted an artificial leaf on the wall in storm whole night .The leaf looked real.It created a hope in mind of Sue and she became well.On the other hand Behrman became ill.pneumonia struck him and he died........Hope it helps☺️☺️☺️
