(i) Constitution of Belgium was amended 4 times between 1973 and 1990 so as to fulfill the demands of people of all communities living together.
(ii) The constitution prescribed that the number of French speaking and the Dutch speaking ministers shall be equal in central government.
(iii) The state government is not subordinate to the central government.
(iv) Besides Central and state government there is a third kind of government called community government in Belgium.
(v) This type of Goverment is elected by the people belonging to single language community.
