As Rutherford's model explained many things about about. Atoms have Negatively charged particles which revolves around the orbit. Most parts of atoms is hollow it means it has empty space. Most of the mass of atom is located at the centre due to presence of Nucleus and in Nucleus (Neutrons and Protons). But Rutherford's model didn't explain about the Stability of atom so that his model of atom was rejected by the Bohr and Bohr introduced his own Model of atom. He found that when ever an electron gains energy it jumps from lower energy level to higher energy level and whenever an electron loses energy then it jumps from higher energy level to lower energy level. This reason led Bohr to explain stability.
