Mysore was a princely states from 1799 to 1950. Britishers Concord Mysore after the fort Mysore was famously known as Anglo Mysore war. The great Tipu Sultan fought with Britishers in these four Anglo Mysore wars. After the defeat in fourth war, Tipu Sultan died in the same age of seringapatam. Hence, large parts of kingdom were annexed by Britishers, ending Tipu Sultan reign. But after sometime, Britishers restored the throne for wodeyars by subsidiary alliance.
