The wife of the narrator was fretting and wouldn't eat a morsel and it was the same case with Bruno then one day the wife of the narrator told '' if you don't take me by car I'll go by myself by bus or train '' so the narrator and wife set off to see Bruno and after getting a letter from the supeirdent of bangalore Bruno was released and finally taken back home

The narrator got him by accident. They were driving away the wild pigs from the fields by shooting ar them. Suddenly a black sloth bear came out panting in the hot sun. He took him , put into a gunny - bag and go back to home ( Mysore - Bangalore ) .
