The baby bear was named as Bruno. The narrator was streaming through the fields of sugarcane in Mysore with his friends.The big bear was hunted down by his friends who happened to be the mother of Bruno.The little bear veiled and cried around the body of its mother.The story teller picked up the baby bear stuffed it in his bag, went home and then presented the tiny little bear to his wife as a present.
Bruno received immense love and affection from everyone in the family including the two Alsatian dogs and the tenants' children. It ate anything and everything that was offered to it. It spent its time in playing, running into the kitchen and going to sleep in the beds of the family members.
