Howard Carter was a British archaeologist who discovered Tut's tomb after a long search in 1920. His men removed the mummy’s head and severed nearly every major joint. Once they had finished, they reassembled the remains on a layer of sand in a wooden box with padding that concealed the damage, the bed where Tut now rests. Carter's research and search operation badly damaged the mummy forever!
For the above mentioned reason, Carter's research was resented.
