Charley had asked for two tickets to old Galesburg in 1894's time. When he tried to pay the fare, the clerk thought he was using a counterfeit currency or trying to cheat him, as Charley had modern currency note those were totally different from 1894's notes. Then he fled back.

Next day he went to a coin collector and bought old currency from him. But he could not make way to Galesburg as he couldn't find the corridor to third level again. So, he couldn't reach to Galesburg.
