In 1931 scared by the rising opposition and the nationalist civil disobedience movement , the colonial government arrested abdul ghaffar khan , which started huge mass agitation in the peshawar region. Mahatma gandhi was denied entry into Delhi, and was finally arrested. After the arrest of Mahatma Gandhi , huge violence and conflict spread in Sholapur. The british colonial government started full represion by beating up women and children and bombing villages.
