Corbett was a British seeker, tracker, naturalist, and writer who chased various man-eating tigers and panthers in India.  Corbett held the position of colonel in the British Indian Army and was much of the time called upon by the Government of the United Provinces, presently the Indian conditions of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, to kill man-eating tigers and panthers that were preying on individuals in the close-by towns of the Garhwal and Kumaon locales.  

Jim Corbett was a decent hunter who lived in Kumaun, there he worked as a railroad worker. He had a decent sense about not just hunting the tigers but also know the individuals who were around him.

But one day, during their hunting, Kunnar Sing was attacked by a man earter tiger and Corbett saved his life with the help of his hunting dogs.
