The democracy in Germany came to an end in the year 1933, when President Hindenburg granted Chancellorship to Hitler. Hitler on 28th February 1933, by using the 'fire decree’ suspended the civil rights of the people, including that of the right to freedom of speech and the press assembly. He thronged his rivals, the Communists to the recently established concentration camps. Thereafter, on 3 March 1933, the tyranny of Hitler established in Germany. The emergence of totalitarianism in France banned all the trade unions and political bodies except the Nazi party. By adopting all these measures the Nazi government established its control over the economy, army, judiciary and media etc and destroyed democracy in Germany.
