By digging of beds to hermit the king spent whole day with him and the enemy of king who came to kill the king had got hurted by kings bodyguard and if king had went away without digging beds he would have been killed by his enemy like this digging of beds for the hermit save the king life.

As the king was digging the flower beds for the hermit he couldn't go back to his horse in the jungle. The robber was waiting for that opportunity to have his revenge on the king. As the king stayed back, his plan was disrupted. When he came out in the open he was espied by the king's guard who wounded him gravely. As he came upon the hermit's recluse the king helped him without knowing his identity and in saving his life with his service earned a loyal friend where once there was a sworn enemy.
