When the king went to the hermit, the hermit was digging flower beds. Helping the hermit in digging the flower beds helped the king as one of the king's enemy hid in the woods waiting for the king to come to kill him in the woods as there was only one guard with him.

when the king went to the hermit he was digging Earth and the king started helping him . This saves kings life as one of his enemy was hide in the bush and was seen by the king's bodyguard.
