Douglas was too young when faced an unfavourable condition at YMCA pool. Douglas wasn't good enough in swimming as he used to feel afraid from water. Once, while learning swimming at YMCA pool, an elder boy pushed him into the water. Douglas was choked and suffocating under water. With his full efforts he was struggling to come out but in the deep water he couldn't do so.

Finally, when he came out. He was looking about to die. After this horrible experience, Douglas didn't even thought to learn swimming anymore. An aversion of water took place in his mind.

After many years, Douglas again decided to learn swimming. He hired an instructor for the same. Within three months ofthe training, Douglas learnt swimming perfectly. He brushed aside his fear and finally succeeded to overcome his fear.
