Answer:

Global economic interdependence has grown in the post-World War II period as a result of technological progress (e.g. computerization, containerization, low-cost travel, low-cost communications) and associated policies that were aimed at opening national economies internally and externally to global competition.

Answer:

he answer to this question depends on your beliefs of human origins. Did the original human population start with one breeding pair (say, Adam and Eve) or was it an isolated population that developed into a new species distinct from ancestors.

Economics is simply making the best choices under conditions of scarcity. Even with an origin of two humans, they would have to work together to figure out how to best provide for themselves in natural circumstances. This quickly leads to the division of labor between male and female. The division of labor is the first necessary piece of economics, but it is not sufficient until we add in ownership and exchange. This probably involves siblings or a larger population interacting in a market.

Siblings find sharing unnatural, they want their own possessions, so they are only willing to share with their other siblings in exchange for something else. Once you have the division of labor and ownership, economics can start. This is also true in a larger group

Quoting Ludwig von Mises (Human Action, 1949) “The market economy is the social system of the division of labor under private ownership of the means of production. Everybody acts on his own behalf; but everybody’s actions aim at the satisfaction of other people’s needs as well as at the satisfaction of his own. Everybody in acting serves his fellow citizens. Everybody, on the other hand, is served by his fellow citizens. Everybody is both a means and an end in himself, an ultimate end for himself and a means to other people in their endeavors to attain their own ends.”
