the English language has played a very important role in unifying the people of India. It served as a common language for the communication of people . India is a vast country . it has various languages. it was difficult for the people to share their ideas. however with the introduction of English education in India , people could freely share their views . the leaders and the common man can communicate to discuss their problems and plan to overthrow foreign dominance from india. this lead the growth of nationalism in India
