Evelyn was physically challenged when her mother found her deafness when she was only 8 yrs old. Her deafness was confirmed when she was 11 yrs old. But when she saw a person playing Xylophone she was very much interested in playing the Xylophone. But Ron Forbes spotted her potential and told her to listen music by another way not by hearing. After practicing a lot she played it perfectly. She was capable not only the Xylophone but also some other percussion instruments also.

Evelyn Glennie was a very brave girl. She learnt to open her body and mind to the sounds and vibrations. She used to feel as if music was flowing through her body. So she joined an orchestra and later the Royal Academy of Music. She did not want to be deprived of the joy of music that made her happy. She later even gave solo performances on stage in many countries and became famous.

if children read her story then they will motivated to work hard nd many things to do in their life..
