Evelyn didn't lose her hope to pursue a career in music even when she was unable to listen. She tried hard and encouraged herself to listen and feel the music through her body. This made people very inspiring when they thought about Evelyn. When the handicapped people would see Evelyn trying and achieving the goal of her life, they got encouraged. Also, they would say, "If she can do it, I can". In this way, she became an inspiration for all the people.

Answer:

In the chapter 'The Sound Of Music Part I,' Evelyn Glennie became a source of inspiration for the deaf and handicapped children as she has succeeded in becoming a world renowned solo percussionist despite being hearing disabled. She has achieved this feat by sensing the music through her body.
