The forest acts affected the life of the pastoralists as
They were restricted to go to reserved forests and they can't cut protected forests they can only cut the village forests in which the quality of wood was very bad for fuel or making homes.
They have to steal wood and if they would caught they were at the mercy of the guards. Especially women were worried because if they will be caught they would be harassed or raped.
