This was the reason the director decided to kill frank underwoods character in season five of house of cards and was burred in a grave yard right next his fathers grave.

Underwood is a resident of Gaffani, South Carolina in the web series.  

Frank was going to the White House to murder Claire following the events of the season five finale and Doug poisoned Frank to stop him.
