Answer:

Explanation:

Mahatma Gandhi came to know about the miserable condition at Champaran about the Indigo sharecroppers.

The British land lords acquired most of the Indigo plantation. Gandhiji held a demonstration against the Government.

He made the peasants fearless and rise against the Britishers. He visited the British Landlords Association to assess their views but was strongly opposed. He then fearlessly faced four protracted interviews with the Lieutenant Governor and finally succeeded in getting justice for the sharecroppers through his non violence methods.

Hope this helps.

Answer:

Gandhiji succeeded through the nonviolence method to get justice for Indigo sharecroppers. Gandhiji went to Champaran village and began the satyagraha movement against the British government.

Gandhiji asked a 50% refund for the poor farmers but they rejected they are only given 25 %.
