Answer:
How did Gandhi's action on behalf of the peasants influence the lawyers?
Answer:-Gandhi was able to influence the lawyers through his conviction, earnestness and pertinent questioning. Gandhi reproached the lawyers of Muzzafarpur for charging a large sum of money as fee from the peasants.
Gandhi also convinced the lawyers not to seek support from an Englishman and be self-reliant.
They react because Gandhiji influence the lawyers by example of selfless service. He was prepared to go to jail for the sake of the poor peasants who were quite strangers to him. The lawyers were deeply impressed. They too became ready to go to jail.
